MINISTRIES

SP Kids exists to partner with families to provide a safe place to guide, nurture, and train  up children for the Kingdom of God. Our mission is to introduce children to the person of Jesus Christ and help them grow in their understanding of who He is.

  • Every Sunday morning, kids get to hear the transformative truth of God’s Word in their SP Kids' classroom.

    Nursery: 0 – 24 months

    Preschool: 2 – 5 years

    Elementary: K– 4th Grade

  • Come to the SP Kids Desk in the Front Lobby and an SP Kids team member will help register your child and print name tags. Children are assigned to their classroom based on birthdate and grade.

Infants through preschoolers go directly to the classroom.

Elementary aged children will start in the sanctuary for worship and will go to class during the sermon.

  • SP Kids events are a great way for children - and parents - to engage in a fun, faith centered community. Click HERE to see our Events page.

  • Twice a year we offer a class for children who want to make a profession of faith and become communing members of Southpointe.

This is a 2-week commitment. Parents are encouraged to attend with their children. Look at our Events page for dates.

  • Coming soon…

Route 56 is our 5th and 6th grade ministry. Our mission is to teach these students God’s inspired Word, engage their hearts, and to help them to better understand what it means to be a follower of Christ.

  • Route 56 meets on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00PM. This class is designed to teach students deeper foundational truths and prepare them as they grow into young adults. This is a rich community where students can encourage one another to know and love Jesus.

  • We desire for our 56'er community to connect and build friendships outside of Sunday evenings. Click HERE to see our Route 56 Events page.

SP Students exists to extend the mission and ministry of Southpointe into the lives of students in 7th-12th grade. We are here to lead a generation to impact the lives of their families, their peers, and beyond. We seek to partner with parents, equip leaders, and to make disciples. We also desire to cultivate a community where students are loved and learn to exalt the name of Jesus wherever they live, work and play.

  • SP Students meet on Sunday nights during the school year from 6-8PM for a Bible lesson, Worship, Small Groups, Games and Food. We can't wait to meet new faces, worship together, and bond over our need for Jesus.

Our Men’s Ministry strives to be a safe place for Christians and non-Christians to ask questions and engage the Kingdom of God. We help men connect with other men so that we may sharpen one another and become more like Christ.

  • Men’s Ministry events are great opportunities to meet people if you are new, or reconnect with guys you don't frequently see. Jesus is the center of all our events, whether it is a theology night, a summer bible study, a retreat, or a casual get together. Click HERE for upcoming Men’s events.

At Southpointe, we don’t simply want to be a church that offers small groups.  We desire to be a church OF small groups. The primary way you experience church at Southpointe is through being part of an SP Group.

  • A typical SP Group consists of about 10-15 adults who meet for ~2 hours on various nights, weekly or bi-weekly. Childcare varies by group. Click HERE to find out about our Small Groups.

PRAYER & CARE: Are you or someone you know in need of prayer, counseling, or someone to talk with? We provide multiple opportunities for you to engage in prayer or talk in a confidential setting through the Stephen Ministry or our Prayer team.

  • Stephen Ministers are here to listen, pray with you and encourage you in your faith as you face the challenges that are too much to bear alone.

The Southpointe MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) ministry provides a place for mothers to connect, build relationships, and grow closer to Jesus during this unique stage of motherhood.

  • We are a group of moms who meet on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:30am twice a month during the school year. We enjoy brunch, speakers, and connection all while our children enjoy their own program in our MOPS Kids Childcare.
